Re: R v. [private] and [private] Case No [private]
An application has been made today on behalf of [private] and [private] to His Honour Judge [private] sitting at the Crown Court Knutsford for a declaration that the continued publication of references on the world wide web (the internet) to an acquittal of [private] in December 2002 and the circumstances of the trial leading to that acquittal in respect of an alleged drug importation is a contempt of court. The Judge has declared that the continued publication of these references and the links to these references on the world wide web (the internet) would be prejudicial to the ongoing proceedings against [private] and [private] and that any deliberate failure to remove these references and links is capable of being a contempt of court. Signed by [private] Stamped by the Crown Court at Knutsford Dated 26 June 2007
